Both floors of the library are open with full access to the collections, study rooms, meeting spaces and the Makerspace. The second floor offers computer access. New features include the ability to print directly from your personal device. Free Wi-Fi is available inside and outside the library.
1 hour library parking
Visitors to the library can use one of the 7 free parking spaces marked “Reserved Library” during opening hours. Spaces are now limited to one hour. These are located along the northeast perimeter of the Library. No payment or permit required.
Meeting rooms are open
Groups can request meeting space in the Hondius Community Room and the Wasson Council Room in the Library. Reservation requests until December 2021 can be made on estesvalleylibrary.org.

Vote for One Book One Valley
Until August 12, vote for the next One Book One Valley. The winning titles will be featured in programs and discussions in January. The list of finalists and the online ballot are available at estesvalleylibrary.org.

Learn the 3D printer
Thursday August 12, 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m., Makerspace Room
Learn how to turn your ideas into reality with the Library’s 3D printers. After completing the course, participants can then use the 3D printers themselves in the Makerspace. For ages 15 and over. Register at estesvalleylibrary.org.
Learn the laser cutter
Saturday August 14 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Makerspace room
Find out how the library’s laser cutter can make precision cuts to decorate all types of materials. For example, the library used the laser cutter to create personalized badges for volunteers. After completing the course, participants can operate the laser cutter on their own. For ages 15 and over. Register at estesvalleylibrary.org.
THE ESTES MAKES READERS GROW

Children 0 to 6 years old and their families can enjoy stories, songs, puppets and activities, all designed to stimulate the cognitive development of the child. No registration required.

Cliffhanger second-hand books: monday sale
Cliffhanger Used Books, located next to the post office, is operated by the Library Friends & Foundation, which offers used books, movies and music at discounted prices. Cliffhanger is open daily this summer from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All day Monday, August 9, buyers will enjoy $ 1 books as part of National Book Lovers Day.
THE TWIG MINI-BRANCH
The mini-branch of the Library of the VallÃ©e des Estes Community Center (EVCC) is open. Customers can request that library materials be sent to EVCC’s Twig, where they can be viewed using the self-service kiosk located on the lower level of the building. The location offers convenient parking and exterior book returns by car.
